Loud, Real and Just Getting Started
This is Bendricks
Bendricks is a four-piece rock band from Barry, Wales, made up of real-life friends who play like they’ve got something to prove. Fronted by Mitch Griggs, with his brother Dominic on lead guitar, Rhydian Greening on bass, and Aaron Abraham on drums, the band formed in 2024 and hit the ground running fast.
Their sound lives somewhere between psych rock and guitar-driven indie, but it’s less about the genre and more about the energy. It’s direct, a bit chaotic, sometimes vulnerable, and always built to make you feel something. No filters, no industry polish: just a band saying exactly what they mean, the loudest way they know how.
Music runs in the Griggs family veins. Their father was a member of an 80s synth-pop band called The Russians, and both Mitch and Dominic grew up surrounded by music.
Dominic, who has extensive experience in bands, had never felt as connected to any of his previous groups as he does with Bendricks. This synergy has become the core strength of the band, setting them apart from the myriad of aspiring musicians.
Bendricks is built on the creative synergy of the front men brothers. Driven by their shared passion and knack for storytelling, their songwriting has quickly set them apart, blending raw emotion with unforgettable melodies.
They dropped their first single Listerine in October 2024, followed by Lost on Time in January. Both tracks got strong early traction and set the tone for what’s coming: big choruses, heavy grooves, and lyrics that hit where you live. Their next single Message in the Snow lands May 23rd with more on the way.
Since forming, Bendricks have sold out venues in Cardiff and London, built a loyal fanbase on and offline, and made it clear they’re not here to play it safe. Their shows are sweaty, shout-along loud, and completely locked in. If you’re into music that feels alive, this is it.
This year’s shaping up to be huge. More gigs. More songs. More reasons to join along.
